Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical Drafter to join our design team. You will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and specifications for various mechanical components, ensuring they meet industry standards.
Responsibilities
Generate detailed technical drawings using software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Work alongside design teams to understand project specifics.
Review and refine drawings based on project progression.
Support manufacturing with technical advice and documentation.
Ensure all designs adhere to safety regulations and standards.
Collaborate with suppliers for component specifications.
Create documentation for design change requests.
Perform checks on technical drawings and assembly instructions.
Participate in design review meetings with engineering teams.
Adapt to project feedback and implement changes accordingly.
Requirements
Education
Relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Experience
2+ years of relevant experience in mechanical drafting
