Mechanical Drafter

Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical Drafter to join our design team. You will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and specifications for various mechanical components, ensuring they meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Generate detailed technical drawings using software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Work alongside design teams to understand project specifics.
• Review and refine drawings based on project progression.
• Support manufacturing with technical advice and documentation.
• Ensure all designs adhere to safety regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers for component specifications.
• Create documentation for design change requests.
• Perform checks on technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Participate in design review meetings with engineering teams.
• Adapt to project feedback and implement changes accordingly.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in mechanical drafting

Technical Skills

• CAD Software

Certifications

• SolidWorks Certified Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
