Job Description

We are in search of a proactive Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Aberdeen. You will focus on assessing, developing, and implementing security measures to protect our networks and data. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity protocols and frameworks, with experience in incident response and threat analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining the security architecture of the organisation.
• Investigate and respond to security breaches and incidents.
• Create and maintain documentation related to security processes and protocols.
• Work with external vendors to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to staff on security-related issues.
• Participate in security awareness campaigns and training sessions.
• Review and update security measures as necessary to adapt to evolving threats.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role
