Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fiscal Economist to join our team. As a Fiscal Economist, you will be responsible for analysing and interpreting financial data, conducting economic research, and providing valuable insights to support fiscal decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyse economic data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
• Prepare briefing papers and reports to support decision-making.
• Assist in the formulation of short and long-term economic strategies.
• Conduct stakeholder engagement and discussions to inform policy development.
• Monitor and assess the economic impacts of policies and regulations.
• Lead research projects and collaborate on cross-functional teams.
• Develop economic models to simulate policy impacts.
• Provide technical assistance on fiscal issues to government agencies and NGOs.
• Assess fiscal risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Participate in conferences and workshops to share economic insights.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or Finance
• Ph.D. in Economics is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience in fiscal or economic analysis.
