Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Economist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing and interpreting complex datasets to provide valuable insights. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough economic analyses, employing a variety of statistical models to draw actionable insights.

  • Translate complex data analyses into layman's terms, ensuring clarity for stakeholders.
  • Maintain and enhance databases that support data-driven decision-making.
  • Work with diverse teams to align data strategies with business objectives.
  • Prepare analytical reports for management that inform strategic planning.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of advancements in data science.
  • Ensure all analyses comply with established regulations and ethical standards.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional growth.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
  • Master's degree or PhD in Economics or a related quantitative field (advantageous)
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
