Job Description

As a Brickmason and Blockmason, you will be pivotal in constructing, installing, and repairing oven structures used in various industries. You will work closely with a skilled team to ensure all ovens meet durability and safety standards while adhering to precise specifications.

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, and install commercial and industrial ovens according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ensure that all ovens meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain and repair existing ovens as needed.
• Provide technical support to customers and other teams as needed.
• Continuously improve skills and knowledge on oven building and related technologies.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Apprenticeship or vocational training in a relevant field (e.g. welding, electrical, mechanical engineering)

Experience

• At least 2-3 years of experience in a relevant field, such as welding, electrical, or mechanical engineering.

Technical Skills

• Mechanical aptitude
• Welding techniques

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Additional certification in relevant areas, such as welding or electrical work, is desirable.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles: Knowledge of lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Experience working with PLCs (programmable logic controllers): Hands-on experience with automation systems that control manufacturing processes.
