We are seeking a Solar Project Developer with a passion for renewable energy and a strong background in project management. You will be responsible for overseeing the development of solar projects, ensuring they meet local regulations and are delivered on time and within budget.

Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate multiple solar energy projects simultaneously.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines and resource allocation.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors.
  • Ensure successful project delivery by maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Review and approve project designs and specifications.
  • Maintain communication with local authorities regarding project compliance.
  • Foster partnerships with other renewable energy organisations.
  • Document project milestones and deliverables.
  • Implement best practices for project management processes.
  • Analyse project performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Project Management Expert in managing energy projects, with a focus on timelines and deliverables.
  • Solar Energy Systems In-depth knowledge of solar technologies and systems integration.
  • Regulatory Compliance Strong understanding of UK regulations affecting solar energy projects.
  • Communication Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Analytical Skills Adept at analysing project data and performance for strategic decisions.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Renewable Energy Professional Certification (REP)
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with GIS software: Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems for site analysis and planning.
  • Background in environmental policy: Understanding of policies affecting renewable energy development.
