Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to assist in operating heart-lung machines during cardiac surgeries. The right candidate will play a critical role in patient care by ensuring optimal blood flow and assisting surgical teams throughout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor physiological parameters and adjust heart-lung machine settings as required during surgery.
• Coordinate with the surgical team for optimal patient care.
• Prepare and maintain equipment used during cardiac procedures.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments prior to surgery.
• Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development.
• Provide support to less experienced staff and new hires.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Advantageous

• Experience with ECMO procedures: Hands-on experience with Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) for critically ill patients.
• Research experience in perfusion: Engagement in clinical research or academic projects related to perfusion sciences.
