SOC Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled SOC Analyst to join our expanding team in Manchester. As part of an elite cybersecurity team, you will monitor and analyze security events, investigate incidents, and contribute to the defense of our organisation's infrastructure. This role is vital for ensuring our client’s data safety, and you will work closely with various stakeholders to implement security measures effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update security monitoring tools and systems.
• Provide forensic analysis of security incidents to improve response times.
• Stay informed on the evolving security landscape and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Assist in the evaluation of new security technologies and solutions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to configure security settings and respond to alerts.
• Conduct threat hunting activities to proactively seek out vulnerabilities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis
