We are on the lookout for a skilled Vehicle Systems Engineer to join our team in Dumfries. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of automotive systems and a passion for engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine vehicle systems for improved efficiency.
• Lead system integration and validation testing.
• Work closely with project managers to align on project scope and timelines.
• Provide technical support during the manufacturing phase.
• Participate in design reviews and engineering evaluations.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices.
• Enhance existing systems based on feedback and performance data.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree in related engineering discipline is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering within the automotive sector

Technical Skills

• MATLAB/Simulink
• Project Management

• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer status

Languages

• English: Fluent
