Job Description

We are looking for an IT Risk Manager to join our Bristol team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying, managing, and mitigating IT risks within our organization. You will implement strategies to ensure that IT processes align with compliance requirements while safeguarding our digital assets.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and maintenance of IT risk management processes.
  • Evaluate IT operational risks continuously and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate IT risk awareness sessions across departments.
  • Review and enhance existing IT policies and standards.
  • Work with the compliance team to ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks.
  • Assist in the incident response process by identifying areas of risk.
  • Provide expert guidance on risk-related topics to project teams.
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote a risk-aware culture.
  • Conduct vendor risk assessments ensuring third-party compliance.
  • Lead the preparation of IT risk reports for management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Risk Management or related field is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in IT risk management or audit roles
