Hoist and Winch Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hoist and Winch Operator to ensure the safe and efficient operation of air hoists in our busy manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of safety standards and demonstrate excellent operational capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate air hoists and winches to facilitate production tasks.
• Conduct daily equipment checks to ensure functionality and safety.
• Communicate with team members regarding equipment use and safety procedures.
• Assist with training new operators on hoist operations and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
• Support other departments in lifting and moving heavy items as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment

• Heavy Equipment Operation

Certifications

• Safety Awareness Training

Languages

• English: Fluent
