Job Description

As a Wind Turbine Service Technician, you'll be at the forefront of renewable energy, performing essential maintenance and repairs on wind turbines. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance and safety across various sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine checks of turbine systems, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Diagnose and repair issues detected during inspections and maintenance.
• Perform corrective actions on turbines, including mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Document maintenance activities and report findings to management.
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to while working at height.
• Guide and mentor apprentices or junior team members as necessary.
• Contribute to team meetings by sharing insights on maintenance challenges and solutions.
• Utilise health and safety monitoring systems to enhance operational safety.
• Participate in emergency response drills and training sessions.
• Assist with inventory management for tools and parts needed for maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred
• Specialized training or certifications in turbine maintenance are advantageous

Experience

• Experience working with specific turbine models is a plus.
