Pharmacist

Job Description

Join our team as a Pharmacist in Leicester, where you will play a key role in managing patient medications and providing excellent pharmaceutical care. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and deliver quality services to our community.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
• Review patient medication histories for potential interactions.
• Participate in the training of new staff members.
• Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Engage in community service related to health awareness.
• Collaborate on continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide immunizations as required and permitted.
• Manage controlled substances and ensure their security.
• Contribute to the pharmacy's strategic planning and development.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to pharmacy students and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) is preferred
• Registered with GPhC is mandatory

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting is ideal

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Other languages preferred: Basic
