Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Actuarial Analyst to join our Manchester team. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of actuarial principles and methodologies, with a particular focus on data analysis and financial modelling. You will play a crucial role in assisting our clients in making informed decisions regarding risk management and financial planning.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret statistical data to inform decision-making.
  • Build and maintain financial models for valuation purposes.
  • Develop comprehensive reports on actuarial projects and findings.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on model outputs.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Review and improve existing actuarial practices and methodologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics
  • Partly qualified actuary with exam progress in IFoA is advantageous
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis or actuarial roles
Technical Skills
  • Excel Modelling

  • English: Fluent
