Digital Forensics Analyst

Job Description

As a Digital Forensics Analyst, you will be responsible for investigating and analysing digital evidence to support investigations. We seek a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in forensic analysis, cyber security, and IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage digital forensics projects from inception to completion.
• Define and optimise protocols for digital evidence collection.
• Present findings to internal stakeholders and external audiences.
• Perform vulnerability assessments on IT systems and networks.
• Participate in incident response teams during major security events.
• Create and maintain documentation for compliance audits.
• Assist in developing training materials for IT staff on forensic practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in related IT or Cybersecurity fields
• Professional certifications in digital forensics are advantageous

Experience

• Proven experience in a related role, ideally with forensic analysis background

Certifications

• GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)
