Job Description

We are seeking a competent Health and Safety Manager to lead our compliance efforts in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of health and safety legislation and the ability to develop, implement, and oversee health and safety management systems, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

  • Establish health and safety goals and objectives for the organisation.
  • Provide expert advice on health and safety legislation and compliance.
  • Ensure all staff receive adequate health and safety training.
  • Foster a proactive approach to health and safety management.
  • Develop emergency response plans and manage drills.
  • Track and report health and safety incidents to senior management.
  • Promote health and well-being initiatives within the workplace.

Requirements

Education
  • NEBOSH National General Certificate
  • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a health and safety role.
