Residential Advisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Advisor who will provide compassionate care and support to our residents in a residential care facility. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health and wellbeing, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in daily activities and personal care.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities.
• Provide assistance in mobility and transportation.
• Help residents with medication management and schedules.
• Participate in staff meetings and training as required.

Requirements

Education

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care

Experience

• At least one year of experience in a similar setting.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving

Certifications

• Safeguarding Training

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in supervising care staff: Ability to lead and manage a small team of care assistants.
• Understanding of care legislation: Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws governing care practices.
