Tree Trimmer and Pruner

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Tree Trimmers and Pruners to join our dedicated viticulture team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining grape vines, ensuring optimal growth and production. This role requires proficiency in vineyard management practices, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of grape vines for growth and health.
• Manage the training and trimming of grapevines to maximize yield.
• Adjust irrigation and nutrient supply as needed to support vines.
• Participate in harvesting processes and quality checks.
• Document vineyard maintenance activities and report to management.
• Assist in training new team members on proper pruning techniques.
• Implement sustainable practices in all vineyard operations.
• Maintain tools and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• Experience with organic or sustainable farming practices
• Certification in Horticulture or Viticulture preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in grape pruning or vineyard work.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Plant Diseases

Languages

• English: Fluent
