Job Description

As a Swine Genetics Researcher, your primary responsibility will be to conduct cutting-edge research on swine genetics and develop advanced breeding programs. Applicants should have a strong analytical mindset and experience in the field to enhance pig genetics and overall productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead research initiatives in swine genetics.
  • Evaluate and improve existing breeding strategies.
  • Collaborate on cross-disciplinary research projects.
  • Train and mentor junior staff and researchers.
  • Engage with farmers and industry partners to implement findings.
  • Monitor animal health and welfare in breeding programs.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in Animal Genetics or related field
  • Master's in Animal Science or Genetics is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in genetic research with a focus on swine
