Special Education Inclusion Teacher

Job Description

As a Special Education Inclusion Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN). Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs, collaborating with mainstream teachers, and providing both individual and group instruction.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with parents to establish effective communication channels regarding student progress.
• Conducting research and attending professional development to stay updated on best practices.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Providing training to classroom staff on supporting students with SEN.
• Monitoring and evaluating the impact of interventions and instructional strategies.
• Engaging with external specialists and professionals to support student needs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, or related field
• Master's degree in Education or Special Education preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience working in educational settings with SEN students.

• Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

Certifications

• SENCo Qualification (Special Educational Needs Coordinator)

Languages

• English: Fluent
