Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team in Edinburgh. In this role, you will provide medical care, perform surgeries, and guide pet owners on health and wellness for their beloved animals. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in small animal medicine, excellent communication skills, and a passion for animal care.

Responsibilities

  • Examine animals to detect health issues and diagnose conditions.
  • Communicate treatment options and contribute to preventative care strategies.
  • Perform surgical operations, ensuring animal welfare and safety.
  • Manage patient pain and recovery post-surgery.
  • Support and guide clients through treatment decisions.
  • Conduct regular health checks and update patient records.
  • Collaborate with other veterinarians for complex cases.
  • Provide mentorship to junior vets and interns.
  • Participate in community outreach and educational programs regarding animal care.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting
