Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Vacuum Caster to join our skilled team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in casting and be familiar with operating vacuum casting machines. You will play a crucial role in producing high-quality casts and ensuring an efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of vacuum casting machines, ensuring optimal performance.
• Prepare and maintain molds and casting equipment with precision.
• Perform metal alloy mixing and pouring with a focus on quality control.
• Handle temperature and pressure monitoring throughout the casting process.
• Conduct thorough inspections of casts and provide feedback for improvements.
• Resolve casting issues promptly to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant health and safety protocols.
• Keep comprehensive records of production activities for review.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance casting procedures.
• Support the training of less experienced operators to build team competence.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required, but relevant training is preferred.
• Certifications in casting would be beneficial.

Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a casting or manufacturing environment.
