Job Description

We're on the lookout for a Civil Engineer to join our Birmingham team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in civil engineering, focusing on infrastructure development and innovative project delivery. You will play a pivotal role in design and analysis, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD software to create and modify engineering designs.
• Prepare project timelines and assist in project scheduling.
• Research new engineering technologies and materials to improve project outcomes.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior engineers.
• Conduct training sessions on safety and compliance issues.
• Collaborate on multidisciplinary projects with other engineering disciplines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering with project management experience

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Microsoft Project

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Registered Engineer (RICS)
• Certified Project Manager (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with GIS software: Experience with Geographic Information Systems for spatial analysis in projects.
