Job Description

We are looking for an adventurous and experienced Storm Chaser to join our dynamic team. Your role will involve tracking and analyzing severe weather conditions such as thunderstorms, tornadoes, and hurricanes. Ideal candidates should be passionate about meteorology and ready to travel extensively to observe and study extreme weather events.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse storm data and patterns to improve predictive models.
  • Engage in field studies to gather empirical evidence of storm dynamics.
  • Work closely with research teams to document findings for future reports.
  • Develop instructional materials based on storm chasing experiences.
  • Collaborate with other storm chasers and scientists to enhance understanding of severe weather phenomena.
  • Assist with training new team members on equipment and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences, or related field
  • Professional certifications in storm chasing or meteorology are an advantage
Experience
  • Prior experience in storm chasing, meteorology, or related field is preferred.
