Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Executive Director to lead the Nurses' Association. This pivotal role involves overseeing operations, developing strategic initiatives, and representing nursing interests at various forums.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically manage the Nurses' Association to achieve its vision.
  • Coordinate efforts to ensure members' needs are met effectively.
  • Engage with policymakers to influence health policy decisions.
  • Lead fundraising activities to secure financial support for initiatives.
  • Supervise staff performance and professional development.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services.
  • Design communication strategies to improve member outreach.
  • Participate in advocacy initiatives on behalf of nurses.
  • Organize and oversee events and conferences beneficial to members.
  • Ensure an inclusive and positive workplace culture.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred
