Job Description

As a Geographic Information Systems Technologist and Technician, you will be responsible for the collection, analysis, and interpretation of spatial data. We are seeking someone who possesses a blend of technical and analytical skills to create effective visual representations of geographical information.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis on geospatial data to support various projects.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of GIS-based solutions.
  • Work with teams to integrate GIS technologies into business workflows.
  • Provide technical support for GIS-related issues.
  • Manage GIS databases and ensure proper data management practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geomatics, Computer Science or a related field
  • GIS certification or relevant software training is preferred
Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with GIS software and spatial data analysis.
