Security Engineer

Job Description

As a Security Engineer in our London-based team, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our information systems. This role requires you to assess security risks, develop effective security strategies, and work collaboratively with IT teams to ensure comprehensive protection against cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk analysis and vulnerability assessments to mitigate exposure.
• Design and establish effective security frameworks.
• Respond to and manage security incidents swiftly and efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with IT support teams to resolve security issues.
• Draft and enforce procedures for data protection and incident response.
• Conduct regular training sessions for employees on cybersecurity measures.
• Prepare and present reports on security metrics and improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of security configurations and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field

Experience

• 5 years of experience in information security
