Job Description

We are seeking a talented Database Architect to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database design and development, particularly in optimising database performance and ensuring data integrity. You will play a crucial role in designing scalable database solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and manage scalable database systems tailored to business needs.
  • Evaluate and recommend database management systems based on project requirements.
  • Work closely with business analysts to define data requirements.
  • Implement data backup and recovery strategies.
  • Conduct regular database audits to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Document database design and architecture standards for current and future reference.

  • Lead performance tuning and optimisation initiatives.
  • Maintain strict adherence to data protection and privacy regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
  • Master's degree in Data Science or similar is preferred

  • 5+ years in database architecture with proven successes
