Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tattoo Artist to join our vibrant team at Creative Ink Studio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating unique tattoo designs and providing exceptional service to our clients. If you have a strong portfolio and a passion for body art, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Design custom tattoo artworks based on client consultations.
• Ensure all tattoo equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sterilized after each use.
• Uphold a high standard of client service throughout the tattooing process.
• Educate clients on health and safety practices pre and post-tattoo.
• Participate in local tattoo shows to showcase skills and promote the studio.
• Document services rendered and manage client appointments effectively.
• Assist in mentoring junior tattoo artists and apprentices.
• Maintain an organized inventory of tattoo supplies.
• Engage with clients post-appointment to build lasting relationships.

Requirements

Education

• Qualification in Fine Arts or similar discipline is advantageous
• Completion of a recognized Tattoo Apprenticeship

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a busy tattoo studio

Certifications

• Bloodborne Pathogens Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluency in another language: Ability to communicate in another language can be beneficial for client consultations.
