Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Planner to oversee project planning and execution in Rochdale. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning sessions and prepare schedules.
• Work collaboratively with design teams to ensure alignment on project scope.
• Implement project management software to enhance project tracking.
• Monitor project budgets and implement cost-control measures.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings and encourage team collaboration.
• Review and approve project plans and deliverables.
• Conduct site visits to ensure work is being carried out as per plans.
• Manage changes to the project scope and schedule.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior planners.

Requirements

Education

• HND or equivalent in Construction or Project Management

Experience

• 5+ years in a similar role within the construction industry

• Construction Scheduling Software

Certifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate
• Health and Safety Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
