We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met, while contributing to innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs using CAD software.
• Conduct prototype testing and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with project managers to define project scopes and timelines.
• Implement design improvements based on feedback and testing.
• Create detailed engineering specifications and maintain project documentation.
• Assist in the selection of materials and components for projects.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Provide technical support during the manufacturing and assembly stages.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
• Research new technologies to enhance product performance and sustainability.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, development, and testing
