Job Description

We are actively seeking a dedicated Cutting, Punching, and Press Machine Setter to join our dynamic team at MetalWork Solutions Ltd. as a Strip Metal Punch and Straightener Operator. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our machinery, where you will be responsible for accurately punching and straightening metal strips.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate cutting and punching machines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct quality checks on products and report discrepancies.
• Carry out machine adjustments and maintenance as required.
• Work closely with the production team to fulfil orders on time.
• Document and report any equipment malfunctions or operational discrepancies.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions to stay updated on best practices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools
• Understanding of technical drawings

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Adaptability

Advantageous

• Familiarity with CNC machinery: Knowledge of operating CNC machines is a plus.
• Experience in maintenance of machinery: Ability to perform maintenance tasks on industrial equipment is preferred.
