Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Credit Counselor to join our team. The role involves providing expert financial guidance and debt management advice to clients, helping them improve their financial situations.
Responsibilities
Provide expert advice to clients in managing their credit and debts effectively.
Create and implement individualized financial plans focusing on clients' goals.
Negotiate with lenders to secure favorable terms for client debts.
Educate clients about consumer rights and responsibilities regarding credit.
Report on industry changes and propose improvements to counseling services.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
Master's degree in Financial Planning is preferred.
Experience
3+ years of experience in a related financial advisory capacity.
