Job Description

As the Chief Sustainability Officer, you will spearhead our efforts to uphold and enhance sustainable practices across our organisation. You will oversee the development and implementation of environmental policies, ensuring compliance with established standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Establish sustainability benchmarks and track organisational progress.
• Manage environmental data collection and analysis to inform decision-making.
• Engage with external stakeholders including regulatory bodies and community groups.
• Lead public engagement and awareness campaigns on sustainability.
• Drive improvements in operational efficiencies related to sustainability.
• Advocate for integrating sustainability into the corporate strategy.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field
• Master’s degree in Environmental Policy or related field is advantageous

Experience

• At least 7 years in sustainability leadership roles or similar

• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor
