As a Scenic Artist, you will play a pivotal role in creating visually striking backdrops and props for our theatrical productions. Your expertise in painting techniques will be essential to realising the artistic vision of our productions team.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute detailed painting plans for productions.
Assist in the design and fabrication of props.
Work collaboratively with designers to innovate and problem-solve artistic challenges.
Ensure all scenic elements align with production timelines.
Conduct regular maintenance checks on painting tools and materials.
Follow artistic direction and be open to feedback from creative leads.
Participate in production meetings to align on project goals.
Document processes and techniques for future reference.
Support other departments as needed during production.
Engage in continuous learning of new techniques and tools.
Requirements
Education
Degree in Fine Arts, Theatre Design, or related field
Experience
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in scenic painting or a related field.

Languages
English: Fluent
Advantageous
