Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Geoscientist to join our team and contribute to pioneering research in the field of palaeontology. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a passion for uncovering the mysteries of Earth’s history through fossil analysis, geological studies, and advanced research techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Gather geological data and conduct relevant research.
  • Prepare fossils for analysis using advanced imaging techniques.
  • Document and archive findings systematically.
  • Assist in mentoring interns and new team members.
  • Conduct literature reviews to support ongoing research.
  • Lead field trips and community outreach efforts in palaeontology.
  • Collaborate with university partners on joint studies.
  • Implement safety protocols during fieldwork.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Participate in grant writing and fundraising efforts.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Geoscience, Paleontology, or related field
  • Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in the geosciences
