Job Description

As a Freezer Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining freezer machines within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that products are frozen and stored at the appropriate temperatures while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain state-of-the-art freezer machines in line with operational standards.
• Monitor product temperature to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment to ensure reliability.
• Document production activity accurately and report any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimise processes and workflows.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Assist in training new staff on machine operations and safety procedures.
• Participate in safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
• Communicate effectively with supervisory staff regarding machine performance.
• Actively contribute to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience working in a food manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Forklift operation
