Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our caring team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support and care for women during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period, ensuring a safe and positive experience for mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of laboring women and develop care strategies.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
  • Assist with pain management strategies during labor.
  • Implement medical interventions as needed and within scope of practice.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and hospital policies.
  • Engage in teamwork and support ward staff in maintaining high standards of care.
  • Document patient interactions comprehensively in EMR systems.
  • Facilitate post-delivery care including breastfeeding support.
  • Contribute to team meetings and share knowledge on best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Registered Nurse (RN) certification and NMC registration
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
Experience
  • Experience with high-risk pregnancies and neonatal resuscitation is preferred
