Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dynamic Technical Writer to join our team in Bristol. In this role, you will create clear and concise documentation for our software products, ensuring that both technical and non-technical audiences can understand our solutions. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and UX designers to develop user manuals, help guides, and API documentation, all while enhancing the overall user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and adapt documentation to cater to various user levels, from beginners to advanced users.
  • Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to extract and clarify information.
  • Collaborate with UX teams to improve the usability of documentation and overall user experience.
  • Help develop and maintain an internal knowledge base for employee training.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior writers.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., IT, Computer Science)
  • Relevant certifications are desirable
Experience
  • 4+ years of technical writing experience in a tech environment
