Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated First-Line Supervisor to manage our engine assembly line. The ideal candidate will ensure that production deadlines are met while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will supervise, train, and guide a team of operatives, addressing any concerns and collaborating with other departments to enhance production efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure engines are assembled to specifications and meet quality standards.
  • Plan and schedule production activities to meet customer demand.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary.
  • Train and mentor team members for optimal performance.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency.
  • Manage inventory for assembly materials and tools.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date assembly documentation.
  • Address performance metrics and assess team productivity.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss objectives and progress.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Post-secondary training in a related field is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant supervisory role.
