Responsibilities

• Hand-string pearls to create bespoke jewelry pieces.
• Ensure quality control at each stage of the jewelry-making process.
• Work with a team to share ideas and improve designs.
• Assist in the upkeep of tools and equipment used in jewelry making.
• Develop new techniques for enhancing pearl stringing methods.
• Handle logistical tasks related to inventory and supplies.
• Document and report on production metrics.
• Engage with customers to understand their jewelry preferences.
• Participate in team meetings to brainstorm ideas for new collections.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Apprenticeship in Jewelry Making

Experience

• 3+ years in pearl stringing or jewelry making

Technical Skills

• Understanding of pearl grading systems

Soft Skills

• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Customer service experience: Experience in providing excellent service to clients.
