Job Description

We are searching for skilled Structural Iron and Steel Workers to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidates will possess experience in metal fabrication and a keen eye for detail. As part of our team, you will be responsible for the construction and assembly of metal structures, reading and interpreting blueprints, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings for various metal structures.
• Measure, cut, and shape metal components according to specifications.
• Use MIG and TIG welding techniques to assemble metal structures.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on tools and equipment.
• Work closely with the engineering team to develop efficient workflows.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety guidelines.
• Document work processes and assist in maintaining records.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely project completion.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualifications in metalworking or engineering

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in metal fabrication

Technical Skills

• Blueprint interpretation
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations

• Communication

• Health and Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
