Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Log Getter to join our team. The Log Getter will be responsible for retrieving and analysing various types of logs to assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of log management, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve and analyse logs from various systems.
  • Document any discrepancies and provide insights for resolution.
  • Work in tandem with IT professionals to enhance system performance.
  • Draft detailed reports based on log analysis results.
  • Maintain secure log management practices.
  • Utilise log management tools and software effectively.
  • Monitor system performance and notify the team of potential concerns.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve skills related to log retrieval.
  • Collaborate with developers to improve logging practices in applications.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant field
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or log analysis
Technical Skills
