Cybersecurity Consultant

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our Aberdeen office. In this role, you will collaborate with clients to develop tailored security solutions while ensuring their systems are protected against emerging threats. You should possess excellent problem-solving skills and have a strong understanding of cybersecurity protocols and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead security initiatives and projects for client organisations.
• Design security architecture to protect client data and systems.
• Assess and improve existing cybersecurity measures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to security policies.
• Participate in regular security drills and simulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Relevant certifications are highly desirable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a consultancy role: Previous experience working as a consultant is a plus.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data protection laws: Familiarity with GDPR regulations and their implications on security.
