Environmental Science Technician

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Environmental Science Technician who will be responsible for conducting fieldwork and monitoring environmental conditions. The ideal candidate will contribute to various projects relating to environmental assessments and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Carry out environmental monitoring and data collection in the field.
• Assist in the preparation of environmental reports and presentations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project objectives.
• Conduct preliminary data analysis using statistical software.
• Support the preparation of grant proposals and project funding applications.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and community engagement efforts.
• Identify potential environmental risks and suggest mitigation measures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Environmental Management are a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in environmental consultancy

• ISO 14001 Internal Auditor Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
