Job Description

As a Building Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all our construction projects meet the legal standards and regulatory requirements. You will assess project plans, materials, and methodologies while ensuring that health and safety protocols are strictly followed. Your expertise will guide our team in delivering safe and compliant structures.

Responsibilities

  • Execute thorough evaluations of construction practices against regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and inspections.
  • Collaborate with design teams to integrate compliance requirements from project inception.
  • Conduct pre-construction compliance assessments.
  • Support the development of policies related to compliance and safety.
  • Facilitate compliance workshops and training for employees.
  • Conduct audits of past projects for compliance verification.
  • Collaborate with external regulatory bodies as necessary.
  • Ensure timely updates to compliance documents and policies.
  • Manage relationships with local industry partners and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying or related discipline
  • Master's degree or further education in Compliance related field is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in the construction industry focusing on compliance and regulations
