Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate metal sheet rolling machines to produce high-quality products.
• Inspect raw materials and finished goods for adherence to quality standards.
• Document production processes and report any discrepancies promptly.
• Engage in problem-solving to rectify any production delays or quality issues.
• Work as part of a team to develop best practices for machine operation and product quality.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for the production process.
• Manage time efficiently to meet tight production schedules.
• Provide feedback on machine operation to help improve performance.
• Participate in safety training and follow all safety protocols.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork and communication.

Requirements

Education

• GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science
• Technical or vocational qualifications in metalworking or engineering

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience operating metal sheet rolling machines.

Technical Skills

• Metal sheet rolling operation
• Technical drawing interpretation

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Team collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CNC programming: Experience in operating CNC machines will be considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles: Familiarity with lean concepts to enhance productivity and efficiency.
