Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Physiatrist Consultant. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals suffering from various physical disabilities and musculoskeletal issues. You will work alongside physiotherapists and occupational therapists to design and implement comprehensive recovery plans.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Instruct and coach patients on their recovery journey, ensuring they understand their care.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary case discussions to improve patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all Healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
  • Advocate for patients within the healthcare system to ensure they receive appropriate benefits.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with patients to track recovery.
  • Share knowledge and experience by mentoring junior staff and students.
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients.

Requirements

Education
  • Medical degree from a top-tier university
  • Fellowship training in Pain Management or Sports Physiatry is preferred
Experience
  • Extensive experience in managing complex musculoskeletal cases
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Ability to work in a team

Certifications
  • Additional certifications in pain management or rehabilitation
Languages
  • English: Fluent
