Job Description

As an Appeals Clerk, you will play a critical role in managing and processing appeals. Your primary duties involve reviewing appeals, assembling pertinent information, and aiding the resolution process. This role requires keen attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate incoming appeals and summarise key issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of appeal hearing materials.
  • Engage with stakeholders to clarify appeal details and gather additional information.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure timely processing of all appeals.
  • Develop and maintain a tracking system for all appeals.
  • Educate clients on the appeals process and provide necessary guidance.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to ensure accurate case handling.
  • Provide input for process improvements based on case reviews.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant qualification in Legal Studies is preferred
Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in legal or administrative roles
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and processes
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance
Soft Skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Organisational skills
Languages
  • English: Fluent
