Job Description

As a Camp Manager, you will be the driving force behind the daily operations of our outdoor camps. You will ensure a fun and safe environment for campers and lead a dedicated team to deliver memorable experiences. Your role includes overseeing staff, managing schedules, and coordinating activities, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operations of camp activities, ensuring high-quality programming that aligns with company goals.
  • Lead and motivate camp staff to deliver exceptional experiences for campers.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with local authorities and organisations for camp support services.
  • Manage budgets related to camp activities and staff training.
  • Develop promotional materials and assist in marketing activities to boost camp enrolment.
  • Evaluate camp programmes and services for continuous improvement.
  • Implement effective communication strategies to engage with parents and campers.
  • Create a supportive environment for staff and campers, encouraging teamwork and camaraderie.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote awareness of the camp.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Degree in Leisure, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in camp management or related roles.

  • First Aid and CPR certification
